When to call a vet
- Vomiting or diarrhea lasting more than 24 hours
- Sudden appetite loss or refusing water
- Trouble breathing, collapse, seizures
- Signs of severe pain, unusual whining
- Suspected poisoning or ingestion of foreign objects
- Trauma, injury, or bleeding
- Any symptom you're unsure about — better safe
Diet changes for medical conditions
If your pet has kidney disease, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, allergies, or any diagnosed condition, only change their diet under veterinary guidance. Do not rely on food changes to treat medical problems.
